The Dr KB McManus Memorial Fund
The Dr K B McManus Memorial Fund was established in 2006 by a group of friends of the late Dr Kathleen Bridget McManus.
The purpose of the fund is to perpetuate and honour the memory of Dr McManus by providing financial assistance for those affected by mental ill health to engage in arts-related activities, in the belief that involvement in creative pursuits can help build self esteem and a sense of individuality - both of which contribute significantly to mental health and well-being.

The Dr KB McManus Memorial Fund Grants 2013
Individuals and organisations are invited to apply for funding to support their involvement in or provision of an arts-related activity.
Grants of up to $2000.00 are available.
Support can be for:
- Courses in painting, music, dance, writing, singing, sculpture, sewing, theatre, photography, jewellery-making etc
- Materials such as paint brushes, paper etc
- Attendance at events such as exhibitions, musical performances, dance or theatre productions.
