The Sector Mapping Report provides great insight into mental health service delivery across the State. The Report contains information of significance to the sector and has proven very useful, including for initiatives such as Partners in Recovery and for prompting formations of community partnerships. The Report identifies service gaps that have been the subject of concern for many years, as well as areas of unmet service need that are less understood.
The data underpinning the Report is currently being used in WAAMH’s development of a web-based community mental health service directory, which is expected to be operable by the end of the 2012-2013 financial year.
The authors of the report are Barbara Gatter and Colin Penter. WAAMH extends our gratitude to them for their work on the Report.
